the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and other federal and state agencies have joined forces and exchange of information to understand and better combat the anonymous hacker group known as a faction Security Lulz ( LulzSec).

A recent Freedom of Information Act request in the disclosure of documents describing the FBI's tracking and the profile of this person, in particular the conclusions drawn by the unit of the Department of Behavioral Sciences (BSU) in relation with the composition of the organization.

BSU profilers believe in a collective Anonymous is leaderless, but an organization with a hierarchy of influence and technical intelligence with the power to attract even ideologically motivated hackers with less experience in their jobs when many hands are needed to perform complicated tasks.

These missions have become more ambitious in recent years, the harassment of supporters of Bill O'Reilly on the Internet in 2008 to one of its most aggressive antics ended in August 2011 - attack cyber security contractors from the FBI itself, ManTech and who claim to have stolen 400 MB of data, including files that belong to the DHS, the U.S. Justice Department, the U.S. Army, the U.S. State Department and NATO.

Anonymous said members through various channels that the attack was in retaliation for the arrest of ManTech 14 people accused of involvement in a cyber attack earlier in the PayPal Web site, which itself was a reprisal for the PayPal decision to suspend the accounts of whistleblowers website Wikileaks.

The FBI is retaliating for collaborating with the collection of information and specific web sites and pursue more aggressive tactics on the ground, including home search and seizure of computers around the country, while their international counterparts, the department will put further pressure on pirates abroad.

Hacker manifestos and advertising responses to federal labeling Anonymous members a threat to national security it is clear that they are involved in cyber warfare, and that the battle lines have been established between applicants and regulators intend to Internet Web bandits in defending what they see as an indomitable digital frontier.
