I normally do not cover the games here in FUNLEAK, but the game we're covering in this post is not just any game, that is, without doubt, the most popular video game series in the world today (at least among adults young and old): Grand Theft Auto.

Rockstar Games - the people behind the venerable series - has officially announced the next game in the series: it's called Grand Theft Auto V and its first trailer will be released on November 2.

The news comes directly from Rockstar Games official Twitter account in the form of, well, a tweet linking to the official website of Rockstar. After starting the official website, players can enjoy a high-resolution logo of the next title in the series Grand Theft Auto: Grand Theft Auto V.

Grand Theft Auto video game first was released in late 1997. The series does not draw the attention of mainstream real until the launch of the revolutionary changes the game Grand Theft Auto III, which was released for Sony's PlayStation 2 in 2001. GTA III is, without doubt, one of the most influential video games of all time. His addiction, not-what-you-want an open world game has influenced nearly every game released since then. GTA III resulted in a new category of open world sandbox style became known as imitation of GTA clones - played games and looked like GTA, but never got the complete formula for the correct way to Rockstar Games was in 2001. And now, soon, IOS and Android users can play GTA III, right on their smartphones and tablets.

Rockstar has not revealed anything more about the next title. All we know about it at this point is that the game is official and we will get a first look at the Wednesday, November 2 next week.

While it is difficult to say anything about its release date, I personally say I do not expected before the holiday season 2012/2013.
