Now that the rumors that Samsung would buy the HP business computer have declined, the company is to start working to expand its presence in the U.S. For the first time, the electronics giant has introduced a desktop PC for the American market.

Samsung 7 Series All-In-One PC joins the trend of all-in-one offering a 23-inch touch screen that is only 16 millimeters thick, buried system components at the base of the unit. The result is a different look, a little more upscale than the typical all-in-one offers. You can put the flat screen to make the best use of the touchscreen interface.

Samsung release two configurations of the All-In-One. The $ 999-A01US DP700A3B includes the Intel Core i3-2120T processor running at 2.6 GHz, 6 GB RAM, 1 TB hard drive, wireless keyboard and mouse, built in Wi-Fi, DVD burner, and integrated graphics. The most robust $ 1,199 DP700A3B-A02US packs a 2.7GHz Core i5-2390T CPU and 8 GB of RAM in place.

The 7 Series All-In-One PC will be available on October 10. Despite offering a more attractive design and a slightly larger screen, you can get an all-in-one product with similar specs for less if you do not want the touch screen (see 220xt Omni, for example).
